Member Service Representative

Adecco is currently assisting a local Redding Company that was voted "Best place to work in Shasta County” in their search for a full time Member Service Representative. This person will be using customer service talents to help current and prospective customers over the phone by explaining features and benefits of their insurance coverage and helping them with payments and changes to their coverage. Support the department by performing a number of administrative tasks such as scanning, filing and data entry. Apply now if you meet the below qualifications!

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of Customer Service experience, Call-Center Experience Preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word
  • Type a minimum of 40 wpm
  • Can obtain your Life, Accident and Health license in six months (we pay for everything)
  • Heavy Phone tolerance

 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Answer questions from current and prospective insured members about features of insurance products, premium rates, billing and other administrative details
  • Take initial claims information by filling out appropriate forms
  • Send and process coverage and beneficiary change forms
  • Take credit card payments and process premium refunds
  • Other administrative projects and duties as assigned

 

Compensation: Pay for this position is $15-$17/hour.

 

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm.
