Membership Services Representative – Falls Church, VA

The Membership Services Representative will be responsible for the processing of association member’s premium payments, data entry, communicating with members and prospective members in writing, via email and by telephone, plus additional clerical duties as assigned.

Hours:  Monday – Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Pay: $15.00/hr.

Duration:  Temp to Hire

Start Date:  November 12th, 2018


  • Receives daily applications electronically. Checks applications for completeness and accuracy.
  • Contacts applicants when there are errors, helps them complete properly.
  • Enters application into Policy Administration system, forwards application to insurance underwriters.
  • Works with underwriters and applicants to ensure underwriting process runs smoothly.
  • Communicates underwriting findings to applicant.
  • Prepares and mails policy to member.
  • Enters premium payments into Policy Administration system.
  • Answers member/applicant phone call or emails and ensures requests are completed in a timely manner.
  • Updates member records in Policy Administrative system with latest member and associate member information.
  • Execute all other reasonable duties as assigned by the Membership Services Manager.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, ability to multi-task and detail oriented.
