This is a temporary position. Role could be extended an additional 6 weeks. This will not go perm. 

Responsible for managing aspects of executives’  day-to-day activities including schedule, travel arrangements, correspondence, messages, and communication with internal and external contacts. Represent the company at the highest level during frequent contacts with leaders of business organizations, Charter executives, employees and customers. May complete special projects.

Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience

Manage executive's correspondence, including phone calls, letters and visitors; answer routine and some complex inquiries and obtain and furnish information on behalf of supervisor; prioritize supervisor's incoming communications to ensure supervisor is aware of key issues

Prepare executive for travel, public events and speaking engagements by compiling relevant information and significantly contributing content to composition of supervisor's presentations, speeches or other correspondence

Organize and prepare complex documents requiring the integration of multiple office technology and software applications

Demonstrate professional written communication skills via reports, executive summaries and newsletters

Act as the office resource for word processing

Prepare and maintain confidential information and data

Prepare conference rooms for meetings including establishing conference bridges (audio or video – will train on our systems), arranging chairs, and organizing materials

Schedule and maintain the executive’s electronic calendar/cell phone of appointments, meetings, travel itineraries and coordinate related arrangements

Attend meetings as needed and follow-up with meeting agenda and action items

Perform event planning and coordination function, including determining attendees, flow of information to attendees, equipment, staffing, catering, location, audio-visual training and set-up, etc.

Provide possible solutions when approaching the executive with a problem and explain the pros and cons

Order office supplies such as copier toner and binding machine materials

May assist more than one executive

Perform other duties as requested by executive

  • Requirements:


Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner

Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner

Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks

Ability to maintain confidentiality of information

Ability to prioritize and organize effectively

Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties

Ability to type 60 wpm

Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Lync, )

Ability to work independently

Ability to collaborate effectively with a team

Knowledge of cable television products and services a plus

Knowledge of office procedures and the operation of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, copier, , laminator, binding machine)

Knowledge of organization policies and practices

Knowledge of IT terminology a plus

Mature attitude, presence and business approach at all times

Ability to identify and prevent unnecessary meetings by asking the who, what, why, where and when to identify the most efficient approach

Clear understanding of the executive’s objectives

Ability to understand personal boundaries and ability to adapt to the executive’s style

Ability to maintain meticulous records



Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience

Related Work Experience

5 years Executive Administration experience
