Adecco is seeking a Full-time Near Site Associate with excellent customer service skills for a major entertainment event in Uniondale, NY. This position is seasonal. The start date for this position is early to mid-May, after successful completion of Adecco’s hiring process (interview attendance, background check, etc.)


Participate in establishing the recruitment plan: chose best platforms to place job postings, plan group interviews, orientation sessions, etc.
Recruit, interview and make final hiring decisions
Facilitate orientation sessions and identify top talent for the Cirque program (use role-play activities, box of props)
Create/update complex weekly, multi-shift associate schedule for Front of House staff (approx. 160 individuals)
Ensure order fulfillment, aiming to achieve 100% fill rate throughout the show run in all departments
Manage associate check-in process, identifying and scheduling backup/replacements as needed
Perform daily check-ins, manage the payroll process and ensure timely/accurate pay and invoicing (no APBs!)
Manage all HR aspects including hiring, coaching, disciplinary measures and terminations
Liaise with client and ensure efficient communication flow with Adecco

Confidence in their ability to do the job and fulfill the Project Manager role
Superior time management skills
Organized and efficient, outgoing and enthusiastic!

Hard Skills:

Prior project management experience a must
Knowledge of the arts industry an asset
Prior recruiting/staffing experience a strong asset
Retail management an asset
Quick learner / can pick up Adecco processes quickly
Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, basic skills in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint

Relationship Management:

Able to boost staff morale, build a relationship that promotes loyalty and desire to do a great job
Able to coach staff to improve performance and reliability
Build a good relationship with the customer that promotes open and strong communication among all department Managers, ensuring all teams feel equally supported

Availability & Reliability:

During ramp-up: 40 hours / week (mostly business hours, may be some off-peak recruiting for those unable to attend interviews during standard working hours)
Setup / Premiere weeks: 50 hours / week Monday - Sunday, 8am-9pm
Show Call: 40-45 hours / week, availability from Tuesday - Saturday, 8am-11pm, Sunday 8am-8pm (actual working hours will vary, must be reachable during these hours)
