Job Duties:

Developing, implementing, maintaining, integrating and supporting complex systems in a highly regulated environment based upon business needs and user requirements
Serve as a resident expert in SQL DB and .NET technologies (VB, ASP or C#)
Translating user requirements into functional specifications, and then implementing those specifications via coding/configuration/workflow updates
This role is also accountable for collaborating with external vendors, internal IT colleagues, IT management, and other stakeholders to deliver timely, sustainable, compliant solutions
Deliver to commitments on-time and in a quality manner
Effective development/revision as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a matrix environment
Ability to deal with ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Work closely with our active Government Contract for their business needs
Comply with company’s Global IT Policies & Procedures
Applies full system development life cycle methodology, including design, build, testing, and support to meet the business requirements
Delivers complex messages in a style that is simple and easy to understand and appropriate for the audience

Must Have:

4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
Minimum of 4-6 years of demonstrated development experience in SQL (DB, development), .NET (VB/C#) along with ASP.NET
Candidates with strong analytical skills and an understanding of customer integrations and web-based tools
LIMS development/configuration a plus
Experience with Power BI or other data analysis or reporting tools a plus
Knowledge of VB6 is helpful
Experience developing enterprise applications with SQL Server (2012 or higher)
Demonstrated experience in the implementation of complex IT systems is required
Working knowledge of LEAN/AGILE software development methodologies is strongly preferred
Excellent communications skills (technical as well as non-technical, written as well as verbal)
Ability to work in a highly regulated environment. Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Computers Systems Validation (CSV) is required
Applied experience with GMP and CSV, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry is a strong plus
Strong analytical skills
Ability to deal with ambiguity and the corresponding capacity to make decisions or recommendations based on potentially incomplete information
Ability to quickly understand and adjust to changing business needs and drive IT’s impact on its success

Pay Rate: $40.00hr - $43.00hr DOE
Shift Start/End Time: TBD
Length of Assignment: 6 months
