Accounts Payable; potential for temp to perm at least 6 months ; temp to perm, (although cannot guarantee a full-time permanent position). JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Accounting Assistant A/P 7/20/15

Position Responsibilities: The key duties for which the employee is accountable are as follows: Oversee and manage the Accounts Payable functions. Process 3 way match - match vendor invoices with packing slips and PO and verify quantity and pricing. Enter A/P vouchers in ERP system. Processes non inventory purchase orders for payment. Issue weekly check run. Work with purchasing and receiving departments to resolve purchase order and receiving issues. Research and resolve pricing discrepancies, resolve issues on unvouchered report and debit balances on A/P aging timely Develop and maintain relationships with vendors  Prepares and processes domestic and international wire transfers. Reviews for Accuracy and processes employee expense reports Manage the W-9 forms. Manage the annual NYS Escheatment program. Prepares the annual 1099 and 1096 reports. Prepare vendor account analysis and reconciliations as required.

Position Responsibilities (continued): The key duties for which the employee is accountable are as follows: Responsible for managing the A/P portion of the Working Capital metric for the company. Implement and manage reporting systems such as I-Expense and E-Procurement. Provide switchboard relief as needed Support the Controller and Accounting Department with other miscellaneous reporting requests as required. Files weekly check run

Position Requirements: The education, experience, skills and training required of the employee for this position are as follows: Bachelors of Science or Associates degree in Business, Finance or Accounting plus prior experience.  3-5 years prior experience working in a finance department, or a combination of education and experience. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.  Working Knowledgeable with MS Office, including Excel and Word . Past experience with ERP systems, MAX, MS Dynamics helpful Customer service focus. Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written form.  Strong organizational and administrative skills.  High level of accuracy. Ability to multi-task
