Responsible for export logistics and transportation operations, analysis, evaluation and control of information, including but not limited to: Ocean Freight, Customs Process , Inventory and Warehouse Consolidation Operations. Ensure there is effective communication with the Sales, Accounting and Back Office, Transport Companies among others. This position must stay informed on the relevant customs regulations as well as with Transportation rules and regulations, management of perishable fresh/frozen products and management of refrigerated equipment. The incumbent must acquire knowledge and expertise around safety and control on the logistic process and policies, procedures and practices of the company. He/She reports to the Director of Logistics and Transportation.

1. Ocean Freight coordination/negotiation. Provided support on freight

negotiations to the Director of Logistics and transportation. Responsible for










keeping rates and service providers cost updated. Coordinate Freight Orders (FO),










bookings, perform all scheduling activities and verify pick up location.










Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Reorganize shipping schedules to










consolidate loads, maximize vehicle usage, or limit the movement of empty










vehicles or containers. Estimate, solicit and coordinate adequate levels of










transport reserves to meet expected volumes. Collaborate to identifying logistics










areas for process improvement and cost savings; Support, as requested by leader,










the preparation of cost analysis or other reports.










Responsible for on time pickup and delivery of all export ocean shipments.










Coordinate load pick up and confirmation activities and troubleshooting.










Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Interpret data on logistics










elements, such as availability, maintainability, budget logistic cost control,










reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing or distribution, supplier










management, or transportation. Report product flow from origin to final delivery.










Timely address any issues or challenges as they appear and escalate if necessary.





















2. Load documentation coordination, inventory control Import/Export.

Responsible of the coordination of processing, review and verification with










accuracy and timelessness of all documents related to our ocean export/import










loads. Supervise and approval of all amendments generated due to but not










limited: Change of client, change of destination. Coordinate for a smooth customs










clearance process with every customs agent we do business with on a daily basis.










Coordinate the appropriately of the request and collection of documents such as










BOL, corrections on file, payments, invoicing and other relevant documents to










comply with the process. Serve as a liaison between customs agencies and clients










to ensure a smooth release process. Furthermore, responsible for inventory










management and control thought the logistic process with the different










consolidation points ( freezers).
