OEM Sales Manager (Ad/Forestry Tires)

We're recruiting on behalf of our client for the role of OEM Sales Manager. You will be responsible for managing sales efforts for an assigned group of accounts with your efforts focused on business development and creating new business opportunities for the company's North America Division.

You will:

Solicit and manage the business in the assigned account base.
Develop product segment growth business plans with existing customers and targeted new customers.
Deliver a unique value proposition to customers, working to develop application specific purpose built product solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.
Work to grow and manage the OE Aftermarket Distribution channel by promoting aligned business strategies with current Aftermarket channels.
Works with peer group to assist in overall business development with key accounts.

About you:

Bachelor’s degree from a four year accredited educational institution.
A minimum of (5) years of OE account sales experience in the off road tire industry and/or field dealing with sales to Original Equipment customers.
MUST HAVE A BACKGROUND IN THE TIRE INDUSTRY.
Must be able to convey professionalism, demonstrate integrity, and strong ability to understand customer needs.
Ability to write professional reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Strong ability to make effective sales presentations using the latest technologies available to deliver a professional mutually beneficial program that wins business and solidifies beneficial business relationships.
Ability to articulate engineering focus with customer expectations, strong ability to communicate engineering and design parameters with the OE customer base.
Proficient at Microsoft Office products, (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Strong comfort level in data mining utilizing query database software to extract information from data. AND using that data to convey information that promotes improved sales performance and success.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

The position requires frequent travel to visit key accounts throughout assigned responsibility. The expected over night travel is 70% or greater.
