Office Assistant

Are you interested in a new Administrative opportunity? Adecco is urgently seeking an experienced Office Assistant for a a successful, growing business in Cliffwood, NJ! This is a temp to hire opportunity with an excellent company.

The Office Assistant will work independently to complete administrative tasks, answer and respond to vendor and customer requests, and coordinate with the production manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle phones calls and interact with clients in a professional and effective manner
  • Support internal and external managers and clients
  • Maintain an understanding of policies and handle issues independently
  • Responsible for participation in general administrative duties including ad-hoc projects, committees and or group events
  • Providing clients custom quotes per order
  • Providing customer service support for clients
  • Understand each customer's needs to provide real, effective solutions
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Organize orders and sales and order processing

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and keen attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels
  • Must be able to prioritize 
  • Team player with a positive attitude

Experience:

  • Office/Administrative Assistant: 1-3 years

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
