Office Assistant Recruiting Coordinator

Adecco is currently seeking an energetic individual to join our team as an Office Assistant/ Recruiting Coordinator in Sterling, VA.  In this role, you will work closely with recruiters in a fast-paced recruiting organization providing administrative recruitment support. The Recruiting Office Assistant is an integral partner in providing office support and coordinating recruitment activities; often providing candidates and customers with their first impression of Adecco.  

Location:  Sterling, VA
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay: $17.00/hr
Duration:  Temp to Hire 

Responsibilities:
Perform general administrative duties such as answering phones, greeting visitors, data entry, filing, and mailings
Assist with recruiting and onboarding tasks such as conducting reference checks, scheduling interviews and phone screens, sending out assessments, processing new-hire paperwork, coordinating and ensuring completion of background/ drug-screening, and maintaining the Applicant Tracking System
Completes I-9 employment eligibility through e-Verify
Work directly with candidates and hiring managers
Update candidate records and job postings in recruiting systems and confirming new hires
Follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email
Provide responsive and proactive customer service via telephone, e-mail, etc.to contract employees and customers
Open/Close branch office
Perform administrative tasks and participate in special projects as needed for assigned recruiting team

Qualifications and Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment, and manage shifting priorities
Possess excellent organizational and analytical skills
Experience interacting effectively with all levels of candidates, employees, hiring managers and senior leadership
Demonstrate strong customer service and collaboration skills

Requirements:
1-2 years of recruiting coordination or HR administrative support experience
MS Word and Excel and Outlook
Must have the ability to learn new software and navigate the internet with ease
Capable of handling problem resolution in a calm and clear manner
Associate’s degree
