Office Clerk - Our busy manufacturing company is searching for an energetic and reliable individual to be responsible for handling clerical tasks in our office. You will be handling incoming phone calls and other communications, greeting clients and visitors, as well as managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general office clerk duties. •Interface with customers regarding quotation requests as well as receipt and acknowledgement of new orders.
•Purchase Order & Vendor Invoice Entry including review of vendor invoices for discrepancies
•Scan, file and log various documents
•Maintain invoice filing system that the used to keep track of current and archived records
•Answer incoming phone calls and manage reception area
•Keep the departmental printers and copiers operating properly and alert management when repair is required
•Order various office supplies as needed
Qualifications & Skills
•2+ years’ accounting/bookkeeping experience
•High school diploma/GED required
•Familiarity with basic Accounting principles. Some accounting education preferred
•Experience with QuickBooks
•Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
•Professional manner and strong ethical code.
•Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
•Good communication skills with commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
