Office Services Clerk

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill an experienced Office Services job in Washington, DC 20005! Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

 

Type: 40 hours per week

Length: 2+ months

Shift/Hours: 8am to 5pm, M-F

 

 

Responsibilities for this Office Services job include, but are not limited to:

  • Meet with manager and/or receptionist to prepare for the following day's conference rooms service requirements.
  • Maintain daily set-up of all conference rooms and ensure all needs are being met.
  • Set-up for meetings and events, ensuring room tables are set up appropriately for the size and type of meeting.
  • Ensure all meeting rooms are set up 15 minutes prior to the event.
  • Keep main dining area clean at all times (sinks, countertops, etc.).
  • Notify reception for work orders as needed.
  • Perform regular walk-throughs of floors to ensure clean presentation throughout areas.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, to include cleaning and repairing.
  • Must be able to lift/move items weighing up to 50 lbs., such as storage boxes, computer equipment, etc. and for delivery/refilling of paper for copy machines throughout the office.


Qualifications for this Office Services job:

  • Must have great attendance and ability to be on time each day
  • Must live local to the DC metro area
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as presentation skills to interface with all levels of management, associates, and vendors.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively in stressful situations.
  • Exceptional client service skills to exceed client expectations.
  • Punctual, dependable and dedicated to achieving operational excellence, down to the smallest of details.
  • Discreet, ethical, and committed to maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and also excel in a team.
  • Maintaining a consistently professional approach, with a willingness to take ownership and responsibility both within and outside one’s job domain.
  • Flexibility to accommodate client needs outside of regular hours (early mornings, late evenings, and/or weekends).
