Office/Administrative Assistant

Adecco is recruiting for an Office/Administrative Assistant for our Adecco office in Lynchburg, VA.

This position requires someone who is organized, extremely reliable, motivated, and energetic. We are looking for someone who can answer phones, file paperwork, assist with hiring and onboarding, provide information to applicants in an individual and group setting, and handle general administrative duties.

This is a 40 hr/week seasonal position in support of our busy holiday recruiting season with pay starting at $12/hr.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Answer phones and provide customer service to callers
  • Appointment setting and candidate pre-screening via outbound phone calls
  • Conduct individual and group orientation sessions
  • Data entry and documentation of all activities
  • Assist applicants with onboarding and general questions as needed
  • Adherence to all compliance standards

Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:

  • Reliable and able to work without missing time
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and Windows based application experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a very busy, fast paced environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
  • Ability to work M-F between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm with flexibility to work occasional evenings up to 8 pm
