Adecco is currently assisting a global technology organization in their search to fill an Operations Analyst – Returns Operations in San Jose, CA. This is a long-term temporary opportunity; up to 2 years.

Our client’s projects, like their users, span the globe and require Analysts to keep the big picture in focus. As an Operations Manager), you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects in Reverse Logistics. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

This role is balance between day-to-day operations management and process improvements. Many returns funnel through our reverse logistics network and Operations Analysts are responsible for their flowing without delay and working towards strategic business goals.

To make return operations performance sustainable and cost effective, Operation Analysts must imagine, prototype and deploy next generation operational processes that improve the customer experience (fast and easy returns) and reduce cost. As you identify the business need, you will establish and lead the operations adjustments that support these changes.

Cross-functional coordination is a critical part of this role. You will be working with multiple internal and external teams such as Fulfillment Operations, Customer Support, Product Managers and Engineering, as well as carriers and vendors.

• Manage day-to-day operations to ensure promise to SLAs at highest productivity
• Use Lean and/or Six Sigma methods to identify root causes for operation performance and prioritize

• BA/BS degree in Engineering, Operations or Supply Chain, or equivalent practical experience
• 4 years of experience managing operations to ensure lowest-cost and promise to SLAs

Preferred qualifications:
• Master's degree in an Engineering, Operations or Supply Chain
• Experience in problem analysis and process improvement
• Natural leader with the ability to motivate a team and influence stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work within a team
