Job Title: Operations Lead

Location: San Jose, CA

Estimated Length: 1 Year

Pay Rate: $25/hr.

4 Years of Leadership Experience Required in Lieu of Bachelor's Degree

Job description:

Provide direction for the daily operations and project management of local and remote driving teams.
Responsibilities include:
* Directly manage small team of local and remote drivers.
* Create and deliver daily work packets to local and remote drivers.
* Provide technical support/troubleshooting for equipment issues
* Monitor daily production and quality, collect and analyze data in order to recognize trends and potential problem areas.
* Create and schedule preventative maintenance for cars.
* Oversee all operator training.
* Track operator’s billable hours and costs.
* Interface with engineering teams to continually improve overall operations process.
* Execute plan for next cities


* Experience with doing presentations, account management, or sales.
* BA/BS preferred
* 2-4 years or equivalent experience required.
* Proven track record of success in previous work experiences.
* Direct people management experience required.
* Previous operational and fleet management experience preferred.
* Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, team environment.
* Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management within Google.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Strong analytical and computer applications skills.

In addition to the duties of an Ops Lead, Special Collects Ops Leads Should:

Have developed customer service skills – they will be working with partners to schedule collects, and provide follow up for when data is launched, (must be able to communicate professionally with a PR rep for a university, theme park, government office, etc.)
Have a higher technical proficiency requirement, as they will be required to use the GT tool to create oyster segments for launch data and be required to create/modify and upload floor plans for trolley site maps.
Have logistics and organizational proficiencies to efficiently schedule partners in a geographically smart way to maximize collection time and minimize travel.
