Operations Manager - manufacturing

Adecco Search is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a direct hire Operations Manager Job in Erie, PA for our client, a manufacturer of quality, state-of-the-art equipment used in the medical field. This position will manage daily overall operations, plan and manage labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures to ensure deadlines are met. You will also maintain a high-quality standard of product production and delivery. We are seeking candidates with experience in new product introduction and working with regulatory agencies. Responsibilities for the Operations Manager Job in Erie, PA:

Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel and discipline employees
Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions
Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends
Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout; implement changes
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
Work closely with GM and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures and systems and to follow through with implementation.
Work closely with the inventory manager and team to perform analysis of our inventory and ensure we are utilizing our inventory effectively, purchasing the right equipment, maintaining solid inventory data and reduce sub-rental expenses
Manages the stock control, and checks that inventory records are accurate


Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or the Sciences or (10) years’ progressive experience in a production environment (medical device/equipment preferred).
Prior experience in ISO certified companies; familiarity with ISO:13485 a plus
Knowledge of Business Administration
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Flexible, adaptable and innovative in approach.
