Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting qualified candidates for Direct Hire Operations Manufacturing Engineer Job in Ft. Collins, CO for our client, a reputable designer and manufacturer for control solutions for aerospace and industrial markets. The Operations Manufacturing Engineer provides manufacturing expertise to solve difficult problems and continuously improve our manufacturing organization and/or supply base. Provides leadership and direction in manufacturing for programming, processing, tooling or working with development engineering on new hardware. Our client seeks a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in technical/science or International equivalent required and greater than 2 years professional engineering experience.

Responsibilities for the Operations Manufacturing Engineer Job in Ft. Collins, CO include:

Supports new capital equipment purchases and implementation with justification documentation
Creates cell layouts and process improvement initiatives
Uses basic Six Sigma and lean tools to improve processes
Participates in process improvements on a project level
Supports the manufacturing floor for any process related questions and develops/trains other members in the manufacturing process
Creates, maintains and develops new process documentation and updates work order documentation
Implements complex engineering changes
Adheres to applicable Quality System requirements and supports process audits
Initiates and supports Process Flow Charts, PFMEA, and Control Plans


Qualifications:

The ability to read and use micrometers, functional and cylindrical gauges, comparators, indicator setups, calibration stickers and scales.
Intermediate ability to read, interpret and use the information presented in drawings, diagrams and blueprints to determine appropriate activities, tools, and next steps in the production process.
Intermediate knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing such as perpendicularity, parallelism, flatness. This includes the ability to interpret tolerances on prints and perform inspection techniques. This includes the ability to interpret datum structures, material condition tolerances, orientation tolerances.
Knowledge of CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) programming/machining including the ability to read, understand, edit basic programs and/or basic knowledge of one or more of the following skills - grinding, turning, milling, drilling.
