We are currently looking for the following: Starting at $15 per Hour!

 

Bundler – Responsible for following customer wrapping and banding requirements per procedures to prepare coils for shipment. The position primarily wraps coils by laying out protective paper and taping it to the specification required. Must sit on stools and bend continuously for hours. May involve heavy lifting to 65 lbs (rolls of banding), and walking for more than 4 hours per shift. Uses hand tools including cutters, pneumatic banding equipment, tape dispensers and mobile equipment. Miscellaneous duties may include using a computer terminal, operating tractors, overhead cranes, line equipment, inspecting product, sweeping, cleaning and painting. Must be able to follow written procedures and pass certification courses for tractors, forklift and overhead cranes.

 

Material Handler – Responsible for following procedures to move coils, pipe or slabs from one location to another by operating mobile equipment including tractors, forklifts, overhead cranes, skip loaders, etc. Must be able to pass certification courses for mobile equipment and cranes. Must be able to use a variety of hand and power tools including banders, cutters, hammers, etc. May involve heavy lifting to 65 lbs. sitting for more than 4 hours and walking more than 4 hours. Must be able to use measuring instruments including tape measures, micrometers and calipers. Miscellaneous duties may include bundling, operating line equipment, inspecting product, sweeping, cleaning and painting. Must be able to use a computer terminal and be able to follow written procedures.

 

Line Operator – Responsible for following procedures to start, stop and adjust line equipment used to manufacture steel products. Position also requires inspection, testing and measurement responsibilities to insure product meets customer specification. Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs., sitting for more than 4 hours and walking more than 4 hours. Must be able to use a variety of hand and power tools including hammers, banding equipment, shears, cutters, etc. Must be able to use measuring instruments including tape measures, micrometers, and calipers. Miscellaneous duties may include bundling, operating mobile equipment, inspecting product, sweeping, cleaning and painting. Must be able to use a computer terminal and be able to follow written procedures.

 

Operations Technician – Responsible for the movement of materials (coils, pipes, slabs) from one location to another. Also responsible for following stop and start procedures in order to adjust the production line when necessary. Position may also require inspection, testing and measurement of products.

Requirements:

 

1.       You must have a High School diploma, GED or Official transcript.

2.       You must have a valid CA driver’s license.

3.       You must be able to work the rotating shifts as this is a 24/7 operation.

4.       You must be able to pass a drug screen and background check with no felonies or misdemeanors within the last 7 years.

5.       Proof of eligibility to work in the United States. 

6.       You are reliable and have good work ethic and at least 6 months’ experience in a large warehouse, driving a forklift, military or a manufacturing warehouse.
