Optics Assembly

  Adecco in Downtown Portland is currently hiring for experienced Optic Assemblers for our client in Wilsonville, OR. 

Previous rifle scope experience a hug plus!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Optic Assemblers:
  •  Product assembly includes, but is not limited to, piece part preparation, building subassemblies, grip assembly, configuration modification
  • QA assembly operations and product packaging.
  • All assembly assignments will be completed by the interpretation and comprehension of written and verbal assembly/QA instructions.
  • Small hand tools and machinery used in these endeavors require manual dexterity and basic safety awareness.
  • Must meet assembly scheduled deliveries on time and within QA standards.
 Education and/or Experience for Optics Assembly position
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
  • Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
  • Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Communication Skills Sends, receives and interprets information clearly, accurately, thoroughly, and effectively encompassing interpersonal, cross functional and peer group settings.
  • Problem Solving Ability to demonstrate a disciplined thought process to each situation, with the ability to seek out innovative alternatives prior to evaluating and making a decision; anticipates problems and is prepared to propose solutions.
