We are looking for someone who is familiar with order management. The ideal candidate will have experience taking control of customer requests through the life cycle of the order. You will be taking customer orders, arranging for shipment, scheduling vendor distribution and delivery, ensuring satisfaction, and processing billing.

This position serves as primary liaison between sales personnel, brokers, distributors, customers and various departments and functions to investigate, resolve and respond to issues and questions. Ensures customer orders are processed, shipped and invoiced. Demands critical thinking abilities to facilitate resolution to both short term and long term service issues. Administers and processes a multitude of distributor, operator, and national account contracts, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and gross margin integrity.

Shift Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm
Pay Rate $15/hr

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-The responsibilities of a Customer Supply Chain Associate (CSCA) desk may include, but are not limited to the following customer service functions:
-Provides support tasks, including efficient, accurate order processing & fulfillment of an assigned account base and acts as a liaison between the customer, outside sales, and internal departments.
-Offers solutions to assigned customer accounts by providing services based upon specific customer initiatives.
-Daily maintenance in SAP which would include reviewing error reports with the orders ZORD
-Audit customer expected pricing
-Organize and consolidate LTL shipments into truckloads or ship withs to increase truck optimization
-Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery
-Assist transportation planners in resolving issues and communicating to appropriate parties as necessary.
-Support customer with pool date coordination, rush shipment arrangements, and problem resolution.
-Analyze existing order to ship processes for possible improvements
-Responsible for an additional level of complexity in the areas of Supply Chain, Finance and Logistics
-Reviews established policies & procedures and recommends best practices to provide high-level customer service, promoting excellent internal/external relations
-Review and clear deductions that fall within order managements area of responsibility

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
-Strong communication skills with excellent inter-personal skills.
-Ability to perform the duties related to order processing, invoicing, credit/debit memos, claims and deductions.
-Capacity for developing an understanding of cash application, logistics and sales.
-Must possess analytical skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to handle stress well.
-Proficient in PC skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
-3 - 5 years experience in customer service and or supply chain.
-Bachelors Degree (business, logistics or finance is preferred.)

WORKING CONDITIONS:
-Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
-Must be able to utilize/view a PC and/or monitor
