Order Picker

Adecco is assisting local client recruiting for Order Pickers in Sacramento, CA.  These Order picker jobs are long term, temp to hire opportunities!

Order Picking requires candidates to select products in the warehouse and other areas to satisfy the customer orders within a warehouse environment. If you meet the qualifications listed below – Apply Now!

Responsibilities for Order Picking jobs include but are not limited to:

  • Read customer orders to determine items to be selected and gathered.
  • Select and move products for each order from refrigerated rooms in the warehouse and other areas.
  • Assemble ordered products by customers and place orders in pallets.
  • Check products to ensure they are all good quality products.
  • Mark orders, materials, items, or products with identifying information/labels.
  • Open bales, crates and other containers.
  • Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure conformance to customer order.
  • Move products from storage to production areas, dock truck or any other area using handcarts and pallet jacks.
  • Sort and store products on racks, bins and pallets according to size, type, grade, ripeness or code.
  • Always display and maintain respectful behaviors.

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for Order Picking jobs:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • 1 year of experience operating electric ride-on pallet jacks.
