Order Processor Round Rock TX 9 MONTH CONTRACT / FULL TIME 8:00am to 5:00pm Targeted Start Date: ASAP Responsible for processing orders for materials or merchandise from sales staff or direct customer contact. Scope: Responsible for order processing support functions such as logging and sorting. May have limited customer contact. Maintains customer files with sales contacts and other information. Gives price quotations, completes order sheets, and checks the price and quantity of each item listed. Distributes order sheets to respective departments. May pull orders from the system to validate content accuracy for all required fields. May initiate corrective action with order originator to correct discrepancies. Principal Accountabilities: Responsible for processing orders for materials or merchandise from sales staff or direct customer contact. Maintains customer files with sales contacts and other information. Gives price quotations, completes order sheets, and checks the price and quantity of each item listed. May facilitate an order audit and quality control process. Complexity: Works on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required. Knowledge and Skills: Applies basic competencies in procedures, techniques and tools under direct supervision.
