Outbound Sales

Pay rate: $17.50 per hour

Duration: 1 month

  • Mon-Fri (Saturday optional)
  • 7AM-4PM or 7:30AM-4:30PM (Some flexibility depending on needs of Temp)
  • Hours to include a 30-60 minutes for lunch time- no OT offered presently

Job Summary:
As a team member you will be responsible to meet/exceed all sales goals within the assigned book of business. This job will be very outbound call driven, with 80-100 sales calls daily as a goal metric. The position will be selling a company software with the benefits the platform offers, but mainly focused specifically clients to get them on a 60-day free trial and then convert them to paying customers after.
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible to meet/exceed all assigned sales goals given throughout the day
  • 80-100 daily outbound sales calls 
  • Become proficient in all knowledge base requirements to understand how to sell
  • Become proficient in all platforms, systems, and tools used to become effective and efficient in outbound call effort
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of conversations in designated system to ensure hand off continuity and client profile accuracy
  • Manage high volume of outbound calls in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work across the organization as needed to resolve client requests
  • Assist clients with the onboarding process for trial and/or becoming an active paying subscriber by passing them to the appropriate team to assist
  • Effectively communicate to the client how to use any of our client facing tools
  • Email marketing materials as needed and links to provide access to the platform
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary by management
  • High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred (or equivalent sales experience),
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience involving cold calls, sales
  • Auction and/or logistics/transportation knowledge/ automotive industry a strong plus
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, particularly in a phone or email context
  • Attention to detail and follow-through
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt in a changing environment
  • Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced, high energy, dynamic and demanding environment
  • Demonstrated experience in being a goal oriented, driven individual
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully driving sales results
Skills and Experience Required:
  • 1-2 years customer service experience
  • At least 1 year of clerical/office experience
  • Proven ability to make decisions
  • Customer service skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Previous transportation or automotive experience a plus
  • Data entry
  • Basic computer knowledge including outlook, Microsoft excel
  • Ability to multi task
