Assists others during assembly of components in area of expertise. Teaches other as. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:This position is responsible for the assembly of automated guided vehicles as follows:
�?� use various types of handtools in the assembly of electro-mechanical products
�?� use and interpret mechanical drawings and bills of material to layout required equipment and materials prior to starting assembly
�?� use and interpret mechanical drawings and bills of material to identify �??best method�?� approach to completing tasks
�?� make mechanical connections using nuts, bolts, washers and screws, also using fitting equipment such as drills, files or grinders as required
�?� make electrical connections using pre-fabricated harnesses, using fitting equipment such as cutters, wire strippers or crimping tools as required
�?� self-audit/inspect assembled work prior to final inspection, using drawings and checklists as appropriate
�?� discuss errors in diagrams or production orders with supervisor or engineers to clarify assembly problems
�?� maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
�?� identify any safety concerns related to vehicle design and operation
