The main function of a packer is to pack or package by hand a wide variety of products and materials.

This person will need to work mostly back shifts from 11PM-7AM but they will also need to work 3PM-1AM and from 7AM-3:30PM depending on the week.

In addition, the personnel will be required to report to work on the first day with slip resistant steel toed boots, long sleeves, and long pants - all other PPE will be provided by client.
Any facial hair will need to be maintained in a close-cropped goatee for the duration of the assignment.

Job Responsibilities:
Measure, weigh, and count products and materials. Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records. Load materials and products into package processing equipment. Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools. Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools. Transport packages to customers' vehicles.

Verbal communication skills and team player. Basic problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures. Ability to lift heavy objects.

High school diploma or GED typically required.

No prior experience is required

Must be able to pass Background/Drug Test

This position is repetitive. Seeking workers with able to perform repetitive work.
