Under general supervision, oversees 20 general clerks and assists with determining retention requirement/destruction dates and record descriptions for boxes that are unclassified. Providing daily/weekly status reports to management team.

  • Analysis of company record retention policy and schedules
  • Performs related duties as assigned



A minimum of one-year of paralegal experience or a recent graduate of a paralegal certificate program



  • Personal computer operations (Microsoft Office)
  • Legal terminology and proper English, grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • Performing multiple tasks and shifting focus and priority as needs arise
  • Operating a personal computer and using advanced programs, word processing and a data entry database
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees
  • Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with those contacted during work



  • 90% of the time will be in Irvine, CA. May move to any of the 3 Southern CA locations once Irvine work is completed: Santa Ana, Cerritos and Fontana
  • Day 1 will be at Irvine for training
  • Dress code: Very casual, but no shorts or flip-flips. Jeans, tennies, yoga pants are fine. It may be cold in the facility



Incumbents in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor, moderate lifting, moderate noise levels and business-related travel. Work is performed in a conference room environment.
