Part Time HR Recruiter

Adecco is currently helping a local client staff a part-time recruiter position. The Recruiter provides oversight of the sourcing, interviewing and pre-employment process. The successful individual hired for this position will be hiring approximately 10 to 20 positions at any given time.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, job specifications, duties and responsibilities, competencies, qualifications, and skills
  • Develop and maintain all job postings; execute all required job postings in a timely manner
  • Develop, maintain, and present HR recruiting metrics
  • Initiate and maintain contact with qualified candidates for specific job openings throughout the recruitment and hiring process; via text recruiting, phone and email
  • Review and coordinate candidate applications, conduct phone interviews/ screenings as needed, evaluate candidate qualifications against position descriptions, refer candidates to hiring managers, and participate in applicant interviews as needed
  • Develop/maintain contacts and act as liaison with external recruitment sources as necessary to meet recruiting objectives
  • Compose and post-employment advertisements to various internal and external media; and use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates, researching new ways of using the internet for recruitment;
  • Ensure that all applicants scheduled for in-person interviews receive appropriate recruitment information and materials;
  • In conjunction with the Human Resources Manager and/or Director of Human Resources Director, determine whether professional, external recruiting assistance is needed and negotiate any related contracts
  • Coordinate and/or conducting pre-offer employment testing, verifications and criminal record background screening;
  • Consult with the Human Resources Manager and Director of Human Resources on appropriate salary placements, making job offers and negotiating salaries where necessary
  • Compose and send offer letters to successful candidates and send regret notices to unsuccessful candidates; Rescind offers, if indicated, and process adverse action notices.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans; analyzing and recommending strategies to improve recruitment and selection process operations; Suggest new approaches to develop better recruitment processes.
  • Ensure completion of all pre-employment tests.
  • Report to the Human Resources Manager on the status of the interview and selection process as well as start dates for individuals beginning employment.
  • Assist with ADP data entry as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years Recruiting experience preferred.
  • Experience in a long-term care or health care environment preferred.
  • Experience in a non-profit environment preferred
