POSITION: Patient Service Representative
LOCATION: Port ST. Lucie, FL
DURATION: 4 month
PAY: 12/hr
Hours: Required Availability
9:00am-6:00pm, M-F. Work schedule created three weeks in advance.//28 hrs per wk
Position is part time, potentially increasing in hours based on the needs of the business

Position Summary
• Provides first class customer service to our patients by treating them with courtesy and respect
• Answers inbound calls and places outbound calls to update patient demographics, schedule appointments, order supplies, physician referrals, prescription refills, collection of payment, and answer general questions.
• Conducts outbound calls to patients and physician offices
• Answers patient inquiries, using multiple system resources to research and resolve various issues.
• Schedules patients for appointments with physician office(s) following physician specific requirements
• Updates patient accounts as necessary
• Builds strong, long lasting relationships with clients and patients
• Provides reports to management staff regarding daily activities, process improvements, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required
• 1 – 3 years of work experience preferred
• Healthcare and/or insurance billing or processing and customer service preferred
• Bilingual capabilities (English and Spanish) strongly preferred; at least 4/9 offers are reserved for bilingual candidates
• Ability to type 30+ WPM
• Ability to navigate multiple various computer systems
• Ability to work in an environment with little supervision needed
• Ability to use Microsoft office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to work in a moderately noisy, fast pace and changing environment
• Effective/Clear verbal and writing communication skills
• Excellent Attention to Detail
• Effective Active Listening Skills
• Schedule Flexibility
• Organized
• Friendly / A Team-Player
• Patience
