Payroll Administration


This position is to assist and support in all aspects of the biweekly payroll for Computershare’s site in Canada as the process is transitioned to an in-house solution. The person will be responsible for supporting all activity in and around Canadian payroll processing.

This includes but is not limited to:

· Processing biweekly payroll for both hourly, salaried amongst for several pay companies

· Support of all temporary employee activity; including adding to system of record and reporting worked hours to agencies

· Support of timesheet activity, tax and direct deposit information, administering regulatory requirements, e.g., garnishments, tax levies, and support orders, and other adjustments to pay as necessary.

· Processing of any required additional payments

· Verifying payroll correctness and payment distribution

· Support of all year end responsibilities including adjustments and distribution of all tax documents.

· Verification and support of maintenance on employee records in ADP/PeopleSoft systems.

· Production of scheduled and ad-hoc reports pertaining to payroll and human resources requirements.

· Assisting in audit of data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data and reviewing source documents for accuracy and completion of data input


· Experience in administration of payroll and payroll practices

· Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred

· Strong Excel Experience

· Ability to respond quickly and accurately to requests for data

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment

· Ability to provide excellent customer service.

· High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.

· Strong attention to detail
