Want to start a great new career with an awesome company? We’ve got just the job for you. We are now hiring for a Payroll Administrator at a client company located in Newbury, OH. The Payroll Administrator supports the accurate and timely processing of the U.S. and Canadian payrolls through a third-party vendor, maintains the data integrity within the HRIS system and provides routine and Ad Hoc reporting as requested.

Responsibilities for the Payroll Administrator include:

  • Oversees the processing of the US and Canadian payrolls by ADP
  • Maintain associated records
  • Balance payroll deductions, prepares headcount report, prepares monthly and Ad-Hoc reports and responds to employee payroll-related questions
  • Maintain employee records, enters new hires, processes personal and employment related changes
  • Administers pay practices, time and attendance policies and PTO plan ensuring consistency in application
  • Collaborates with the HR team members to provide quality service to business partners, employees and plan participants
  • Maintains employee records ensuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with department managers, supervisors and employees to create a level of confidence and trust

Qualifications for success:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years related experience with ADP Comprehensive Services or ADP Workforce Now
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and advanced skills in Excel
  • Experienced with HRIS Systems
  • Knowledge of payroll requirements and relevant federal regulations
  • Must be detail oriented with the ability to plan work flows and multi-task

This position is a temporary position with the possibility to lead to a full-time job. Hours are Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm. The payrate for this position is $20/hr. to $25/hr. but client is willing to negotiate based on experience.
