PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR

Adecco is currently assisting a nationwide transportation company with their need to fill a Payroll Clerk position in Wichita, KS. This is a Temporary 3-month opportunity paying $12.75/hr.

The purpose of this position is to provide strong admin expertise to achieve and maintain zero payroll defects, while maintaining employee information and then confidentiality of personnel files/company records.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and input of weekly contractor payroll
  • Keying exception sheets into FOCUS for payroll
  • Data Entry, maintaining, filing and management of employee sensitive information
  • Other duties as assignment by supervisor

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years payroll experience
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is vital
  • Maintain accurate payroll records
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel a must
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to accept direction from supervisor
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

 

Other Information:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • Overtime may be required at times
  • $12.75/hr
