Responsible for monthly payroll general ledger preparation and reconciliations
Maintain State Payroll Tax Identifications.
Maintain the periodic liability reconciliation spreadsheet
Assist with compilation and preparation of quarterly payroll tax filing
Assist with Fiscal and Calendar year-end reconciliations and W-2 processing
Assists in resolving unique payroll problems which relate to general ledger account reconciliations.
Audit payroll reports and activity to ensure accuracy between the payroll and financial systems.
Gather payroll data for a variety of audits.

Perform Accrual & GL analysis

Qualifications

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent years of experience
Experience in an in-house payroll environment
3 years’ experience using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll and accounting systems.
3 years’ experience reconciling and filing quarterly and year end payroll tax returns and employee earnings statements
3 years general payroll experience including multi-company payrolls
