Responsibilities, Qualifications, & Details:
Job Title: Payroll Clerk
Shift: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm
Location: Westerville, OH
Pay Rate: na
Length: 6 months

DESCRIPTION
Inputs data from time sheets, production records, or individual time cards to computerized payroll system. Also responsible for balancing payroll runs, producing federal, state and local tax payments, and answering employee questions and troubleshooting issues. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

-- Experience with ADP/ProBusiness systems is preferred


Required Qualifications:

1) Statement of Deposits Balancing with payroll records
2) Setting up new state, SUI, local tax accounts with tax agencies
3) Quarter and Year-end processes that include but not limited to quarter-end reconciliations, balancing and
W-2 form processing
4) Wires for payroll, taxes and garnishments
5) Tax Agency Notices
6) Other projects as assigned”

Preferred Qualifications:

* Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
* Experience with ADP/ProBusiness systems is preferred
