LOCATION: Lancaster, PA 17601

START DATE: ASAP upon successful interview with client

DURATION: Long-Term with the potential to be hired by the client based on business needs, performance, attitude and attendance - being hired by the client is not guaranteed

PAY RATE: $29.50 per hour

HOURS: 1st shift, daylight hours Monday through Friday with the understanding you MUST be available to work overtime to include going in early, staying late and working weekends as needed. 


Position Purpose

This team member is responsible for providing operational support for a 
manufacturing and warehouse environment including all computing devices, peripherals, common applications, network, printers, and servers for one or more locations. 
This is a position that is suited to someone that already has worked in a desk-side and site support role for a number of years. This person must work well with all levels of the business both remotely and in person. This person is typically already at a senior level and can at times, provide leadership to peers in either operations, process improvement, or project management aspects of Site Support. 


•    Computer Science Bachelors degree preferred
•    Microsoft -MCSA/MCSE -Windows 7 / 8, SeNer 2007 /2012
•    Experience supporting a manufacturing, warehouse, and corporate headquarter  environment is a plus!
•    Experience with using other IT related tools; SCOM, Nagios, Netcool, Nedi, Active Role SeNer, etc. is a plus!
•    Experience using project management tools and methodology is a plus
•    Certified for computing device and peripheral warranty process and repairs especially in Dell and HP equipment.
•    Candidate will support multiple locations and participate in project work; travel is required and could be both within the area they live and in another state. (estimated at 25%).
•    Reliable team player with willingness to backfill co-workers and participate in technical project tasks
•    Available outside normal business hours to handle escalations or project tasks as required
•    Provide accurate accounting of all work performed in order to record this information in a time keeping system.
•    This can be a very physical job, at times.
o    Person should be able to lift 50lbs, as needed
o    Must be able to walk long distances within a location in a timely manner, as needed
o    Must be able to sit or stand, as needed, for long periods of time

Major tasks and responsibilities of position

  • Perform PC duties to include removing pieces, replacing them, working on hardware issues
