Pharmaceutical Patient Care Coordinator

A Pharmaceutical Patient Care Coordinator positionis now available in Cary, NC through Adecco Medical & Science. In this role you will manage the referrals process, processing incoming and outgoing referrals and appropriately send to preferred providers. Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage request for services from members and/or providers. This is an immediate contract temp starting April 6 until October 2020 and could be extended based on business needs.

Job Responsibilities:


Verify and set insurance eligibility dates within the pharmacy management system
Add allergy information from faxed/eSCRIBE images directly into the pharmacy management system
Adjudicated live insurance claims for commercial pharmacy transactions
Work exception queues to correct prescription order issues and ensure the prescription continues to flow through the pharmacy management system.
Review dashboards within the pharmacy management system and report out to leadership queue progress



Qualifications:


High school graduate or GED required.
One to two years of related work experience including data entry.
Working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology.
Ability to accurately sort and file materials by alphabetic or numeric systems
Effective communication and customer service skills required.
