Type:                      Fulltime (40 hours / week) contract
Length:                  3 months
Pay:                        15.00 / HR
Shift/Hours:          M - F between 6AM - 6PM AZT with rotating Saturdays that can occur every 1.5 - 2 months, 7AM - 4:30 pm AZT
 
Responsibilities for this Pharmacy Advisor Representative job include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide support to members and/or prescribers, and Pharmacists assisting members and/or prescribers, regarding the disease state(s) supported by the program
  • Outbound calls are made (with return inbound calls likely) directly to patients to help prepare the member for the conversation with the consulting Pharmacist
  • Educates the member on the value and purpose of the program, client-related messages as well as identifying ways to help with medication ordering process and medication cost savings opportunities
  • Verify insurance coverage for potential new clients
  • Re-verify insurance coverage for existing patients in order to process patient prescription needs successfully and demonstrate excellent customer services to patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance carriers
 
Qualifications for this Pharmacy Advisor Representative job:
  • Minimum of 1 year in a customer service or call center environment
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish preferred
  • Prefer an understanding of insurance concepts, including drug cards, major medical benefits, and per diem coverage, as well as knowledge of government and patient assistance programs
  • Strong attention to detail, and proven analytic and problem solving
  • Must have effective and empathetic communication style in managing inbound calls and communications with clients and team members
  • Computer experience is required with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Basic alpha number data entry skills with attention to accuracy and quality is essential
  • Ability to work with people in a team environment while meeting individual performance goals
