Pharmacy Tech- Carlsbad Temp to Hire

PAY RATE: 17/hr
Position: 1 year contract with a very high chance of going permanent
Job Description:

Use multiple computer systems to obtain pharmacy orders, compare to order received and produce mailing labels
Utilize the best method for product packing and shipping based on standard procedures to include type of packaging, unique conditions (i.e. refrigeration), etc. to ensure safe and secure delivery
Prepare manual prescription orders by verifying information, pulling appropriate prescription drugs from inventory and complete necessary scanning and packaging as necessary
Maintain various machines and equipment (e.g. IPD machines, auto packing machines)

Job Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience State of California Pharmacy Technician License (PhT) Proficiency with a computer and Windows PC applications including ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system application Ability to work 2nd shift (8-hour shift) from 2:00 pm to 11:30 pm (overtime on weekends may be required per business needs)Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of pharmacy / prescription experience National Pharmacy Tech Certification (CPhT) OptumRx is an empowering place for people with the flexibility to help create change.
