Description Summary:


Develop and manage weekly and daily job plans for the T&D and Production Departments.R
Review and adjust plan daily. Insure backlog and available information is reviewed to insure proper prioritization of jobs.
Release, schedule and monitor Preventive Maintenance Task Plans.
Oversee all aspects of work scheduling preparation such as permits, marks, shutdowns and customer notifications.
Prepares Bill of Materials for construction work and communicates material needs to the Stores Department.
Daily discuss activities and backlog with supervisors to insure work is scheduled appropriately and executed successfully.
Develop planning tools to optimize planning and resource use. Develop KPIs to track planning performance.
Perform Infor administrative tasks, such as update checklists, set up standard work orders, and define crews among others. Update planned time off and employee’s vacation in Infor.
Insure regulatory maintenance work is being executed. Responsible for monitoring compliance work and reporting status to Supervision.
Develop, continuously improve, and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in the Systems Office. Maintain and modify Planning SOPs. Perform monthly audits on SOP compliance and submit audits to management.
Lead Planning and Weekly KPI meetings.
Develop and adjust agenda for planning meetings.
Responsible for creating and distributing key critical business reports. KPIs, Main Breaks, Outstanding Leaks as requested by Management.
Responsible for managing and coordinating the planning function for New Services Installs.
Manage the relationship with municipalities. Monitor municipalities permit escrow accounts.

Customer Service:


Ensure compliance with regulatory required customer service level standards.
Participate in company community outreach / education programs.

Compliance:

Ensure departmental compliance with environmental, safety and other regulatory policies.

Requirements:

Proven interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Must be able to deal effectively with all levels of staff, management, vendors and customers
Knowledgeable with MS Office Suite
Understanding of maintenance management systems (Infor) and Graphic Information Systems (GIS)
Knowledge of water utility operations, maintenance and construction practices
Familiarity with United Water accounting practices
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and related safety practices
Creative problem-solving skills to gather relevant information and deliver an optimized planning schedule
Ability to develop, communicate and enforce Standard Operating Procedures
