Adecco is hiring a Plant Manager on behalf of its client in the Buffalo, NY area which is looking for an effective and proven change agent. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Global Operations, you will direct overall plant operations, ensuring the achievement of production objectives. You will manage the day to day operations based on KPIs for a three shift, 190 employee based manufacturing facility. Job Essentials:


Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of production.
Carry out Managing and Directing responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsible for hiring, performance reviews, training, development and disciplining employees.
Excercise Project Management duties and ensure all projects are on-time delivery.
Create value and drive the value driver process in the facility with monthly reviews.
Foster a climate of continuous improvement.
Develop and recommend Plant Capital and Operating budgets.
P&L responsibility.
Develop and ensure all OSHA and environmental policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:


Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
10 plus years of experience with responsibility over multiple manufacturing operations.
Metal fabrication or heat transfer manufacturing experience HIGHLY preferred.
Strong project management experience required with experience in product rationalization or technical integration required.
Working knowledge of ERP Systems.
Six Sigma certification (black belt preferred) with experience in the development and implementation of Lean Manufacturing Processes required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of all Microsoft products.
Ability to travel.
