Adecco Group, global recruitment leader of professionals seeks experienced project manager - business process for our premier client, a leader in financial/insurance industry - Can be any USA location but Tampa or NYC Travel 20% EST work

Job Title: Project Manager – Business Process
Duration: 12 months contract
Pay rate: $65.00 - $68 per hour depending on experience

Project Manager works within Claims in a process excellence capacity, as the CoE for claims quality. Working through some model office initiatives with each of the 5 claims teams within US Group business (Long Term Care, Individual Disability, Short term disability, Long term disability and Dental) claims to improve quality assurance management. Each business has multiple processes and projects underway to improve quality, with goals to improve efficiency, streamline workflow, increase expertise, satisfy customer expectations and improve payout accuracy.

Responsibilities accountable for duties/project/metrics/initiatives:

The consultant must have experience and expertise in running process improvement projects in a complex organization. Need strong project management, organizational and communication and analysis skills. Must have an ability to work independently and take initiative to keep a diverse slate of project participants on track with their deliverables. It is also key that this consultant understand operational goals and targets rather than simply driving task management. The consultant will primarily to accountable another higher up, but will be working with a large number of people and projects across each of the 5 claim organizations. External contacts will largely be limited to key claims partners (vendors) and other project consultants

Background skill set needed to perform the job (software skills needed as well):


Microsoft project, Sharepoint, Webex, OMMs, project charters and project strategy.
Basic technology knowledge, data management and analysis experience as well as BRD and procurement routines.
Experience working with insurers is strongly recommended.

Other requirements:

Experience in Project Management particularly around business processes
Strong leadership skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills
Excellent relationship building skills
Strong analytical and problem- solving skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related course of study preferred

Remote in any US location. Travel 20% to Tampa and NY - Work Eastern Time Zone

Must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship / no corp to corp or 3rd party contracting arrangement / Adecco W2 only and not require relocation assistance.
