Principal Enterprise Architect


A contract Principal Enterprise Architect job located in Bellevue, WA is available courtesy Modis . A Bachelors Degree with previous experience in a similar role is desired. This position gives you the chance to shape and evolve the experience of the clients Frontline employees.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the overall technical design and end-to-end solution design for assigned initiatives. Ensures quality, consistency and alignment of designs to TMUS standards and digital strategy. Able to handle multiple initiatives in parallel.
For large cross domain initiatives that are supported by E2E Design, E2E Arch applies digital standards to project Solution Architecture, drives Technical Strategy and architectural tradeoff discussions.
Owns Solution Design for cross domain initiatives and works across domains to ensure cohesive solution.
Reviews and identifies the gaps in the architecture and solution designs, assesses and defines remediation efforts or mitigation options
Broad understanding of the products, systems and technologies across the business portfolio and deep technical ability on integration of these components to deliver a cohesive E2E solution architecture for a given initiative.
Interacts with Senior management to shape and align solutions against desired minimum viable product scope.
Leads the technical design process for applicable cross domain initiatives. Capable of leading Sr. Architects on initiatives that are divided into multiple work streams.
Authors the following artifacts: Concept Architecture, Top 25 System Impacts and E2E Solution Architecture document.
Support the definition and adoption of common software development processes.
Technical solution owner on cross domain initiatives. Development of innovative solutions and technology strategy. Owns E2E solution design strategy across teams.
Prepare and maintain design deliverables that include architecture diagrams, data models, and API / micro-service architecture.
Partners with domain architects and EA to set design process standards.
Balance constraints in IT, business, delivery to deliver optimal architecture for an initiative
Translates business requirements into technical requirements that the system analysts and other technical team members drive into the project design and delivery.
Drive to practical solutions considering all teams, initiatives and long term outlook
Leads design orchestration on the largest and most complex initiatives
Provides input into the definition of Digital Architecture standards as they are created.

Job Requirements
7+ Years related work experience

Required: Bachelor's Degree; Preferred: Master’s Degree. In lieu of degree, equivalent industry experience may be considered.
