Job Purpose :

Technology Resource for Plant in Danville
Building systems to improve / sustain Quality, productivity and asset utilization in Danville operations.
Design and implement World Class Manufacturing practices in operational areas.
Integrate with Companies global Process Improvement Teams and implement all improvement activities through benchmarking and knowledge sharing exercises.

Key Functional Area:

Technical Resource
Process Quality Improvement.
Asset Utilization control and maximization
Interface with Production / Supply Chain / Quality Teams for maximizing productivity.
Benchmarking and Standardization.

Job Accountabilities / Content:

Work closely with Technical Operations Manager / Business Unit Manager to develop as second line managers in all technical activities
Responsible for implementing and improving systems to maximize the asset utilization in Plants operations.
Implement Process Quality Improvement activities in full swing.
Identify and drive by exploring potential areas for improvements using Six Sigma Tools
Ability to work closely with cross-functional / cross-cultural team.

Job Specifications

Qualification: Graduate in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Production Engineering areas. Should have high flair for System / Process Improvement tools.
Field of Specialization: Manufacturing Process exposure / Quality Standards / Predictive maintenance / TPM / Cost effective tools / World Class Bench marking activity / World Class manufacturing. Six Sigma knowledge / experience is an added advantage.

Competencies / Skills required:

Process Savvy / Analytical / Asset Utilization maximization / Communication / Go-getter / Time management.
Hands on experience in machining process improvements will be preferred.

Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience in Process / Productivity / Engineering related functions in world class organizations. Experience of working in WCM companies will be a special advantage.
