Adecco is currently assisting a local manufacturing client in their search to fill an exciting Process Improvement Specialist I role in Wilsonville, Oregon 97070. Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!
Contract Length: 6 months
Pay Rate: $19.50


One key objective in 2018 is to standardize our manufacturing processes in order to make our products in a safe, defect free, and most efficient manner. The successful candidate would be responsible for the below functions:

• Follow Eaton’s safety rules and procedures including PPE standards.
• Work with production technicians and team leads to observe and document current tasks/processes six production lines MVA, MVC, MVS, LVA, MCC, and EC/AM lines
• Use in-house Method sheet templates to document the tasks of a given process
• Review observations and completed method sheets with Supervisors and OpEx on a weekly basis, and follow through any actions and feedbacks to ensure accurate descriptions of the tasks/processes. OpEx and training committee is responsible to approve the completed method sheets and communicate them to the production team.
• Daily alignment with OpEx team to ensure alignment and timely completion of the projects.
• Report out process variabilities across different technicians and work with supervisors to find optimum methods.
• Report out immediately any tasks or steps that may undermine safety and quality

Technical Skills and Knowledge:
• Strong listening and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Attention to details and process oriented
• Self-driven, efficient to complete the tasks on time
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
• Experience in electrical assembly or manufacturing setting preferred.
