Adecco is currently looking for Process Technicians.

This role is responsible for assisting in maintaining the plant’s daily work load and keeping their assigned machines running efficiently and productively. This position will process assigned machines efficiently by monitoring the productivity rate and reject rates against documented standards.


MAIN FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Work safely and identify any safety concerns.
2. Ensure high quality production by following quality standards and working closely with the quality team.
3. Removing and installing molds/dies according to production requirements.
4. Maintaining records to ensure repeatable high quality production.
5. Following SOPs, Processes, and training instructions.
6. Participate in production improvements.
7. Perform jobs assigned by production supervisor/management.
8. Assist in the sampling of jobs.
9. Assist Floor Personnel (when needed).
10. Attend all training sessions. Training session could be on scheduled days off. Management will make every effort to prevent scheduling on an employees scheduled day off.
11. In-process attribute/functional gauging (where required).
12. In-process SPC monitoring and reporting.
13. Keep accurate records of machine downtime when required.
14. Maintain housekeeping throughout the facility.
15. Fill in on sister shifts when other process technicians have scheduled time off.
16. Work mandatory overtime when required. If mandatory overtime is required, management will supply an expected stop date of mandatory overtime.



Knowledge/Skills/ Abilities

1. 1 year experience of injection molding setup, or has had training in processing or equivalent is preferred.
2. Has taken/completed some processing classes, or willing to train candidate that has proper knowledge and personal attributes.
3. Basic math skills.
4. Good communication skills (verbal, written).
5. Good reading and comprehension skills.
6. High school diploma or equivalent.
7. Thorough understanding of polymer flow behaviour, close loop machinery, mold bases and repairs, preferred.
8. Working knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control) is preferred.
9. Must be able to work with limited supervision.
10. Basic computer skills.
11. Forklift experience preferred, or must obtain Essentra license within 30 days of employment.
