THE RUNDOWN
To ensure coordination of Process Tech and Material Handlers on the shift to enable injection molding machines AND automation equipment run to quality standards and meet all production goals as set forth in the daily schedule. Assure all safety and housekeeping procedures are followed. Record and maintain KPIs for your team. Communicate potential hazards as well as reporting all quality and scrap issues to supervisor/manager in a timely manner.

THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
� Work with the process techs, material handlers and quality in maintaining stable processes and quality parts
� Ensure the production schedule is executed according to the published sequence
� Organize the team to have mold or color changes done in a timely manner according to the KPIs established for each process.
� Performing process troubleshooting, part inspections and various other functions to insure part conformity and quality
� Completing required paperwork at startup of jobs
� Confirming startup of job inspections and in process inspections
� Inspect and evaluate workplace environment, equipment, and practices, ensuring compliance with safety standards
� Quickly responds to the needs of machine operators and leads.
� Troubleshoot, maintain, and test injection molding equipment and automation systems, components and networks
� Communicate mold set up status to leads, material handlers, supervisors and process technicians from other shifts

THE QUALIFIERS
� Certificate in injection molding, industrial automation, robotics, controls, or electronics preferred.
� Prior experience in troubleshooting and repairing automated systems including the mechanical devices, hydraulic and the human-machine interfaces that are present on the mentioned systems
� Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in the plastic injection molding industry as a Process Technician with scientific injection molding knowledge
� RJG training
� Minimum of 3-5 years of programming and troubleshooting multi-axis robot
� Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in various instruments and hand tools
� Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
� Monitoring and preparing support equipment i.e. thermolators, dryers, robots and other fixtures
� Setup, startup, monitor and troubleshoot multiple automated equipment
� Troubleshoot, maintain, repair/replace and test automation systems, components and networks
� Perform mold set ups, start-ups, troubleshooting, moisture content inspection, laser printing set-up, Sepro robots and other auxiliary equipment on conventional and dual injection molding machines
� Ability to read, understand and communicate in English language to ensure adherence to documented procedures and current specifications is essential.
