Responsibilities, Qualifications, & Details:                 

Individual will be responsible for providing general support for NA Sourcing function in an effort to develop and implement the regional strategy for various categories including HR, Consulting services, Marketing & Advertising and others.


Job Duties:

  • Support the Sourcing effort to develop a NA Sourcing strategies integrating all Suez Business Unit volume
  • Support the NA Category Management Team to implement the strategy across NAM
  • Work with other Regional leaders, Procurement staff and key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of those strategies in those regions
  • Develop an understanding of existing category contracts and participate in negotiation and review of terms
  • Work to streamline the Sourcing process for the internal customer to acquire products and services
  • Provide general tactical support for Procurement categories including PO/Invoice dispute resolution and general internal customer support
  • Understand the workflow tools and collaborate with IT and the Suez team to maintain and or develop/enhance technologies and/or alternatives
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across Sourcing function
  • Coordinate and generate business unit reporting (savings, compliance, monthly status and ad hoc)
  • Contribute to KPI measurements such as PO coverage, days to pay, etc in addition to supplier quality metrics
  • Implement and lead global tools and platforms including spend analysis, contract database and e-bidding tool
  • General Sourcing support as necessary across various Procurement categories (chemicals)


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited university or college – with a preferred focus in Sourcing, Supply Chain or Engineering
  • Three (3) to five (5) years minimum of Procurement/Sourcing Experience
  • One (1) to three (3) years minimum of HR/Consulting Services Experience
  • Strong Interpersonal and Leadership Skills
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Experience working with Multiple Global Business Units
  • Contract Knowledge
  • Strong Negotiation Skills
  • Strong technical skills (Tableau a plus)
  • Strong Communication Skills is a must


Pay Rate:  $20.00hr - $22.00hr DOE

Shift Start/End Time:  first shift/general business hours

Length of Assignment:  4 months with possible conversion to permanent
