Title: Procurement Specialist

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a current Procurement Specialist position in Sacramento. This is a 3 month temporary opportunity. The Procurement Specialist is a pivotal member of Supply Chain, supporting the tactical and strategic activities. Responsibilities for this Procurement Specialist job include:

• Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for packaging and ingredients
• Maintain Supplier Registry
• Complete vendor and material set up in SAP
• Establish and implement procurement policies with suppliers to ensure quality, delivery, and cost improvement
• Process requisitions and complete the procure to pay cycle
• Identify continuous improvement in the procurement replenishment process for assigned categories


Qualifications:

• Associate's degree
• 2+ years of functional experience
• Knowledge of SAP,ERP
• Knowledge of E-Suite (e-procurement, e-auctions, e-sourcing)
• Strong written verbal communication skills (English)
• Strong computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, Oracle)
