Position Overview:

The “World’s Largest Search Engine” is looking for an energetic and growing individual, core to their strategy in Commerce. This is responsible for supplying merchant stores with equipment and supplies necessary to fulfill and pack orders to customers.


The Procurement supervisor will be responsible for all aspects of procurement of supplies/equipment, as needed for Operations and in-store processes. This person will also be responsible for ensuring orders are fulfilled to stores in a timely manner, so stores never stock out of supplies.


You will work closely with multiple cross functional team members to ensure the success of our operation. This will be a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail, thoroughness, accuracy, and most importantly the ability to thrive and work in an ambiguous environment with little supervision or guidance.



  • Monitors inventory levels and ensure sufficient supply health in the warehouses.
  • Places orders with suppliers when material is needed, based on current inventory levels and demand forecasts published.
  • Monitor pending orders with suppliers, coordinate, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain KPIs for Procurement and report performance on a weekly basis, along with root causes for misses and actions to fix issues.
  • Support ongoing strategic initiatives to develop world class procurement and sourcing strategies to drive cost reduction for the business.
  •  Documentation of all process for scalability and future training of new team members.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Logistics or similar fields.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in supply chain planning / procurement / sourcing / operations / business / program management.
  • Solid understanding of procurement and sourcing methodologies, supplier relationships, and vendor management.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be organized, and able to thrive in ambiguity.
  • Excellent analytical skills, and the ability to transform data into information, providing recommendations, and creating reports/dashboards for the same.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Skills and experience with scripting, MS SQL, DBMS is a plus.
  • Experience or certification in program/project Management is a plus.
