Location: Sacramento, CA
Duration: 6-month + contract- likely extensions

The Product Coordinator provides project coordination and administrative support for Training and Outreach activities. Product Coordinator supports workshops and program-related meetings and will create project schedules and coordinate and monitor a variety of projects and administrative processes.

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • The product coordinator will assist the team with managing workshop logistics, including designing and monitoring registration, booking venues, coordinating with subcontractors and providing on-site support.
  • Create and monitor project schedules and project budget.
  • Create and/or update written procedures for projects and processes and be responsible for project inquiries.
  • Prepare for and facilitate meetings with the client and subcontractors
  • Develop training materials, including PowerPoint slides, video scripts, handouts, and flyers
  • Facilitate and coordinate meetings, take notes at meetings, plan projects, create schedules, and track budgets and process reimbursements.
  • Write and coordinate email communications for various stakeholders

Candidates should meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
  • Local travel: 25% or less.
  • 3-5 years’ experience is desired.
  • Knowledge of large scale statewide K12 assessments is highly desirable
  • Project coordination and administrative skills as well as experience with conducting successful virtual meetings are required.
  • Well-developed organizational skills, analytical skills, strong technical skills (Word, Excel, Project and Outlook) and a willingness/adeptness with regards to learning new technology are required.
  • Must be self-motivated and can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills, and experience working with internal and external customers are highly desired.
