This is a full-time position, working 40 hours onsite at client location in Princeton, NJ and expected to last approximately 12 months + with the very strong possibility of being extended. Remote work is not permitted.

Summary of Position


The Product Manager is directly accountable for end-to-end management of a product segment or lower revenue product line or delivery of assessment contract. The incumbent defines the financial goals for the product and leads the development and implementation of plans to achieve those goals. The Product Manager leads the development of marketing and sales plans, distribution channel plans, customer support and product enhancement plans. Additionally, this role acts as the key internal promoter of the product and may communicate directly with clients and potential clients. 70% of position will fall under product enhancement/interaction with IT teams.
 

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Manage the activities related to the training programs (LMS). Provide support to clients and user groups utilizing the system, liaison with outside vendors for updates and system upgrades; track invoices and SOWs as necessary; assist with the development and/or annual review of system manuals, learner’s guides and instructor materials, coordinate webinars or on-site training sessions.
  • Manage the development and annual review of Product materials including Examinee Handbooks, Score User Guides, Test Administration manuals, Technical Support Guides, and other related collateral in support of the overall product suite.
  • Support the scheduled release of Product marketing and monitor and manage product sales activities through the:
  • Creation of reports for tracking activities and finances including volume and revenue by country, and provide to senior staff
  • Monitoring of product volumes and invoicing to report sales figures to management
  • Monitoring payments to ensure on time receipt of payment
    • Manage the updates and maintenance of language translation files by locale, admin. and product.
    • Track product readiness; collaborate with CPMO and IT to ensure implementation of product configurations, enhancements and system releases are complete.
    • Assist with the set up Organizations and/or Network and Client accounts
  • Support the training of internal stakeholders
  • Work with Client Managers to obtain translated materials for studies and resolve, escalate and track resolution of technical support matters
  • Serve as site administrator of several internal and external SharePoint sites; ensuring access and accurate permission levels are in place; coordinate the posting of recruiting, marketing and other materials when made available; and recommend process improvements to increase network and client satisfaction
  • Manage the activities related to norming and validity studies including the set-up of administrations, reviewing study files for accuracy, coordinating FCE & CPMO work, implementation and configuration of systems
     

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
 

Education/Work Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required, or related field experience is required


Minimum 3-5 years in client relation management, customer service, or product support or product management

Other Requirements

 

  • Must have strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), including intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills are highly desired.
  • Exposure to Jira and Agile (Project Management) desired.
  • CRM knowledge is helpful
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills and must be detail-oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to operate within diverse cross-functional groups, including outside vendors
  • Strong administrative skills and strong planning, project and time-management skill
